“I almost don’t even want to say. Now, keep in mind, this game came out… in six, seven, eight months, whatever February is, it’ll be three years since it came out. And also, let me preface this next statement with saying that I was out with spinal fusion surgery so I had a lot of time on my hands.I got, like, 600 hours on the game.”
While Rhodes explains that he’s yet to playElden Ring,Orton quips that he wishes the wrestler “were a fellow Tarnished” before explaining how he “gets lost” in the game. For his part, Rhodes is also known for playing video games and even used the Tri-Force fromThe Legend of Zeldaas a decoration for one of his previous ring outfits.

While Rhodes has nevershied away from his love of video games,Orton states in the above interview that he previously never understood the hobby. He even explains that he used to tease Rhodes for playing video games before acknowledging that he’s grown to love the activity. WhileElden Ringmay be Orton’s current obsession, that hasn’t prevented him from checking out other major releases.
In lat 2023,Orton confirmed that he’d spent a good deal of time flying through the galaxy in Bethesda’sStarfield. He stated that, at the time, he’d played the sci-fi RPG for roughly 50 hours while also acknowledging that he was dabbling in the most recentCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. While he didn’t mention playing the critically panned campaign,Orton confirmed that he largely played theZombiesmodewhich many agreed to bethe strongest aspect of the game.
